The Friends of Rocky Collective is a fan driven organization providing University of Toledo student-athletes with NIL opportunities that strengthen the Rocket community. As the first NIL Collective in the Mid-American Conference, Friends of Rocky was a first mover in the name, image, and likeness space and continues to look for new and innovative ways to enhance University of Toledo student-athletes’ marketability and NIL earning potential. The ability to include these student-athletes in important community events like these creates a win-win for everyone involved!
Basepath is providing Friends of Rocky with an advanced financial and operational infrastructure that streamlines their entire NIL ecosystem. The software includes automated task assignments and payments to athletes, compliance dashboards for athletic department administrators and smart contracts using a DocuSign integration. Basepath’s platform supports student-athletes and collectives with the tools they need for seamless contract management, financial reporting and content distribution. By alleviating administrative burdens, student-athletes can focus more on their sports and academic pursuits.
