Basepath is pleased to announce a significant update to its GM tool, launching on October 11th. This update introduces several new features designed to provide enhanced control, flexibility, and efficiency for NIL operations across universities and athletic departments.
Contract Operations Integration
For the first time, the GM tool will integrate contract and payment data, allowing seamless management of rosters, budgets, and analytics alongside contract operations. This provides users with a comprehensive view of both athletic and financial aspects in one platform, streamlining decision-making and management.
Enhanced User Permissions
The update introduces improved user permission capabilities, allowing more precise control over system access. This includes a two-tiered split between GM operations and standard collective operations, as well as the ability to designate permissions by department or team, offering greater customization and security for users at all levels.
Depth Chart Improvements and Custom Player Tags
The updated GM tool also includes enhancements to the depth chart functionality, along with the ability to create unlimited custom player tags. Users can assign multiple tags per player, giving them more flexibility in organizing and analyzing their rosters. Tags can now be color-coded and will appear next to players in both the roster table and depth chart views, making it easy to quickly identify tagged players, especially in the depth chart view. Additionally, you can now select key values on the new analytics graphs and tables for deeper analysis. This allows you to analyze budgets and spending across categories like position groups, tags, graduation year, or performance rating. Previously, the only key value available was position group, and it was limited to the roster and depth chart views, without graphical representation.
Expanded Analytics
New analytics features are being introduced, providing users with the option to view budget and spend data in either table or chart formats. This improved visualization will help users better assess spending patterns and make data-driven decisions.
With these updates, Basepath continues to help athletic departments and collectives manage their operations with precision and ease.
