Kodak Retina Reflex S - 1959
Email support   Main website

• Kodak's first 35mm SLR with interchangeable lenses

• $235 in 1959 ($1761 in 2010 dollars)

The first Kodak Retina Reflex (also in this app) came out in 1958 with interchangeable front lens elements. A year later the Retina Reflex S came out, with fully interchangeable lenses. It shared its mount with the Retina IIIS rangefinder, as well as with future Retina Reflexes (III, IV, and Instamatic).

Kodak might have called it the Retina Reflex II, but they didn't.
