Kodak Retina II - 1949

• $197.75 in 1949 ($1812 in 2010 dollars)

Mine is the rare "nfs" version, with the flat-fronted shutter like the Model 011, instead of the Model 014's cone-shaped front and without the 014's flash synch. The shutter is referred to as "COMPUR-RAPID nfs". Word has it that the nfs models were manufactured to use up parts left over from the Model 011 run, so it can be thought of as a 011/014 blend.

It's in spectacular shape. Hard to believe it's 60+ years old. I'll load it up and shoot with it this week (it just arrived), and post some photos here.
