Traid Fotron III - 196?

• Fully-automated, push-button camera with built-in flash

The Fotron was marketed door-to-door to people who were intimidated by photography but were ignorant of what else was available. Instamatics were superior to the Fotron in every way, but Traid hoped people wouldn't know that.

Fotrons were sold for whatever the market would bear, sometimes for nearly $500. Fifty buyers brought a class action lawsuit against Traid Corp., but no information seems to be available about the outcome.
