New Articles: Argus A, Polaroid 95, Japan beats Germany
I’ve put some new articles on my growing photography articles site: Classic camera entries for my Argus A and Polaroid Model 95, and an article about how Japan came to dominate Germany in cameras in the 1960s, based on an analysis of a comparison chart that was printed in the Popular Photography Directory for 1961. I call the article “Japan 16, Germany 1, Game Over”.
My newest classic cameras, bought but not yet arrived, are a Minolta SR-7 (first 35mm SLR with a CdS meter) and an Olympus OM-1. Less than $50 each.
