A good introduction to the Leicaflex is from the first page of the Leicaflex Guide by Andrew Matheson, published by the Focal Press in 1965. Note that he calls it "one of the last cameras of its kind":

I bought my Leicaflex in December 2009 on eBay from the original owner's son. It's in perfect condition, as you can see from the photos I took with it that appear below. Although it doesn't have a TTL meter, the metering seemed very accurate.

These shots on the Boulder, Colorado, downtown mall were taken on Fujicolor 400 color negative film and scanned by a local processing lab. The last shot is interesting because it was taken from the hip, without aiming the camera, and is shown here uncropped.

The brochure that follows was given to the original buyer of my Leicaflex by his dealer. It's marked with the prices for the camera and various combinations of accessories. He paid $639.08 on 17-July-1967.
