Licensing
You can get an ImageIngesterPro license either before or after you download and install the application (ImageIngesterPro or ImageVerifier). Click here for license terms and price list.
ImageIngesterPro has a free demo for up to 25 ingestions, and ImageVerifier has a free demo for up to 50 files per run.
ImageVerifier is included with an ImageIngesterPro license.
SpanBurner and LRVmaker each require a separate license; there are also demo versions.
ImageReporter and LRViewer are completely free.
Staying Up-to-Date
For ImageIngester and ImageVerifier, make sure Update Check is checked (Preferences panel option);
it's automatically set by other applications.
Read the Latest News regularly (link at left), ideally by subscribing to the RSS feed.
Email isn't sent to the mailing list (see form, upper right) on every minor update.

Installing Adobe DNG Converter
If
you want to run Adobe DNG Converter from ImageIngester or ImageIngesterPro, you'll have to install that
separately (link at left). It doesn't matter where it's located, since
you can choose the location from the ImageIngesterPro or ImageVerifier Preferences panel.
Adobe DNG Converter is required if you're using ImageVerifier to verify non-DNG raws. It's not required to verify DNGs.
Mac and Windows Platform Information
Mac apps require OS X 10.4 (Tiger) or 10.5 (Leopard) on PowerPC or Intel, and they are Universal Binaries. They will not
run on versions of OS X earlier than Tiger (e.g., 10.3)
A downloaded DMG file
should attach itself as a Mac disk image from which you can copy
ImageIngesterPro.app, ImageIngesterProBeta.app, or ImageVerifier.app to your Applications folder (or wherever you like).
If the disk image doesn't open, locate the downloaded DMG file
and double-click on it.
Windows apps require Windows XP or Vista.
Double-click on the downloaded Microsoft Installer file
(extension of MSI) to install.
If your browser offers a direct "run"
button, don't press it.
Choose the "save" button instead, and then run
it after it's been saved.
If you get a message from the Windows installer that a more recent version is already installed, quit the installer, remove the old version (Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs or Control Panel/Programs and Features), and rerun the MSI file.
No support is available if you're running on an unsupported OS, which includes Mac OS X earlier than 10.4 or running on non-Apple hardware, Windows earlier than XP (such as 2000), or any non-Windows system running the Windows version, including Linux under a Windows emulator or Mac OS X running Virtual PC or Parallels.

Free ImageIngester is not available in this and future versions.
WARNING:
A change has been made to no longer accept macros like {@datetimexxx}, where "xxx" is any text, as being equivalent to
{@datetime}.
Check your use of macros carefully.
If you were erroneously using a macro like {@datetimeoriginal}, instead of the correct {@exif.datetimeoriginal}, your results will be different.
({@datetimeoriginal} was treated as {@datetime} in earlier versions, so you weren't getting the EXIF datetime anyway.)
